Bruins V. Montreal Preview: C. Miller In, Trotman Out

Montreal is in town for a 7 p.m. contest against the B’s. Here’s to hoping to the Bruins locker room is sick of hearing about how bad they’ll be this year, and shows up to knock off a team they haven’t beaten in almost two seasons.

Where Boston posted 30ish minutes of enjoyable hockey in their season opener, Montreal managed about 40 minutes. Despite scoring first, they got off to a slow start, which is starting to become a trend for them. Toronto, yes that Toronto, carried play for most of the first period. Montreal took control in the second and third on route to a 3-1 victory.

B’s Morning Skate Notes:

Krug-McQuaid

Irwin-K. Miller

Morrow-C. Miller

Chara-Trotman

Judging from that tweet from the Bruins it appears Chara won’t make his return just yet, and Trotman will be odd man out after a rough night on Thursday.  No reported change in lines up front.
