Bruins-Lightning Preview

Coming off a less than impressive 2-1 win Tuesday night over the Panthers, the Bruins look to continue their mini winning streak against the Lightning in Tampa tonight. The ‘Ning are off to to a decent 6-4 start, only two points in front of the Bs in the division.

Steven Stamkos leads the Bolts with 7-5-12. Tyler Johnson is a minus 8. Woof. Still a good team, and a good test for the Bs tonight.

David Pastrnak will be back from his ridiculous two game suspension, and it looks like Matt Beleskey is a healthy scratch based off morning skate. One could say he’s been figuratively scratched all season given his Blutarski level 0-0-0 start to the season.

Here are the line and D combos from the morning skate:

And yes, Jimmy Hayes should be sharing popcorn with Beleskey as soon as possible, and you have to think he will once David Backes returns, hopefully for the weekend. Sean Kuraly looks to get his first NHL game tonight.

Figure on Tuukka Rask in net tonight (ya think?) and Andrei Vasilevskiy for the Lightning.

Should be a good one, Bs have to be ready to go tonight, another “effort” like Tuesday won’t cut it.
